Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness - Review

The month of May brings a treat for Marvel fans. Doctor Strange’s veteran character features in the all-new “Doctor Strange in Multiverse of Madness.” The movie is the second one dedicated to the Marvel character Doctor Strange. The previous came more than five years ago.

Benedict Cumberbatch features York’s prime neurosurgeon cum master of mystic arts, Stephen Strange. The plot revolves around a girl called America Chavez (played by Xochitl Gomez). America is portrayed as a creature from another universe, having the power to move between different universes. An enormous one-eyed octopus monster chased America, who, according to her, wanted to steal the power. If he gets control of this supernatural power, he will be able to control every reality that exists therein.

Another Marvel Avengers superhero, Wanda Maximoff (played by Elizabeth Olsen), accompanies Doctor Strange in this mission of defeating the monster. To understand this movie to its fullest, you need to be a prolonged Marvel fan with knowledge of prior shows. This movie has some events related to WandaVision and the Disney+ television series What If….?

Director Sam Raimi and screenwriter Michael Waldron deserve full credit for assembling a comprehensive plot. Sam Raimi’s direction is visible clearly throughout the movie. His fanatical ideas put life into the Marvel blockbuster. Even though Raimi did his last direction back in 2013, the essence is still there to its fullest. So, if you are one of those Marvel freaks, find Doctor Strange in Multiverse of Madness in cinemas near you.
